3. Eligibility and Account Registration

• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

LawyerAI and its content, features, and functionality are owned by LawyerAI s.r.o. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your content to provide our services.

6.3 Legal Database Content

Legal documents and case law accessed through our platform remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Our analysis and insights are our proprietary work product.

7. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Always verify AI insights with primary legal sources
• Our services are research tools, not legal advice
• You are responsible for independently verifying all legal information
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of our content

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We comply with GDPR and maintain SOC 2 Type II certification. All data is processed and stored within the European Union.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAWYERAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LawyerAI harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate your account and access to our services at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. You may download your data for 30 days after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.

For EU residents: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
